So yeahhh...

there is really not much to talk about guys.
No. Literally. Nothing.
Nothing has been happening.
So I will bombard you with embar photos while I try to think of something to talk about.

yep.. that happened. with a pony and a watermelon helmet.

Look at these assholes..
Those are from a good time on Wednesday. We stopped at REI but we also got sushi..
Though, it looks like all we really got was drunk.

Yesterday.. it was hot as balls outside.
I saved a special photo for you guys.
I don't know if you remember, but I am from Michigan.
This particular photo is from when it was 'cooling down' last night...

It should never be this hot here. Unacceptable if you ask me.
Alright, rewind..
Yesterday morning I was running late to work.
Typical after a night of sushi and booze :)
So I back the car in so I can make a quick escape at 4. I know the park job is not the best I have ever done, but I am late, so I grab my stuff and run as fast as I can so nobody knows that it was me that has parked this way!
So at 4 I get back to the car.. its clear.
I decide to take my chances and check out the park job.
It is way worse than expected.
Way.
Worse.
So of course I took a picture to share with you beautiful people.

Bahahahahaha. Hilarious.
I defend myself by saying that when I parked, there were no other cars.
I could not see the lines on the ground...
and I didn't really give a crap.

Also yesterday, I gave a presentation

The principal responded, "Well... good try anyway."
Yep. That really happened.
After all of the excitement of my magical day I went home.
I went home... and drank.
Drank with my dog.

I have some god ugly feet.
Ew.

Thanks for coming!!!

A little about me!

What made you decide to start this blog?
I have been reading blogs on Blogger for quite a while now and have since been thinking about starting my own. One day I was thinking to myself, am I really living and doing, and being everything that I think I can and want to... and the answer was no. I figured now is the only time we have to change things so I am going to start living however the eff I want and documenting the change might be fun :) Also, the very next day my calendar said this to me:

What a sign!! The other reason I wanted to start a blog was because interesting and ridiculous things are always happening to me. About a year ago I banished facebook from my life so without a blog I have no outlet to share these crazy things with the world!
Where are you from?
I am from Michigan! Nothing cool or exciting about that. I don’t think I have a cool accent or any cute words that I say, like “ya’ll.” Other than lakes we really don’t have much to offer!!
How old are you?

I am 25. Which feels extremely old since I am not really living my dream, still trying to make it through grad school, not married, and have no children.  Well, I have this one..

But that only counts to some of you :)

What is something that you are passionate about?

I am passionate about design and interiors. Honestly, my dream is to flip houses. I want to be able to design, decorate, and beautify an entire house all while being my own client. It would be the most amazing, hard, worthwhile experience that I can imagine. I hope that one day I will get to do it full time, but for now it is just a hobby.

What about your family?

Crazyyyy. My new little family that I am starting isn’t so bad but my family as a whole is nutty!

I live with my boyfriend (of forever) and our dog in our cute little house. Perfect and quiet. It’s great.

However, my family, like I said, is crazy. About 2 miles away live my mom and my brother Ryan (20).

About a block away from them live my grandparents. This would be my favorite grandfather ever, basically like my dad. My grandpa refuses to have his picture taken. When you are lucky enough to get one he screams, "Do not put that on the internet!!" lol

My dad and step mom… wow. I have a brother sister Catherine (5), Riley (10), and another sister Samantha (3).

Did I mention that I am 25? Yeah. Cool.

What is your personality like?

Sarcastic. Blunt. Funny. I really try to be honest, but as I’ve grown up I’ve tried to be a little more sensitive to others. I have definitely been called a bitch (a lot) in the past which has changed the way that I approach people. I think that I have become a much softer person... unless you are not in my inner circle :)

I care deeply about my friends and family. I have a hard time trusting new people and I really do not hide it well. I judge people very quickly and it’s almost impossible to change my mind. I have yet to be wrong regarding my first impression of someone, which makes it a hard habit to break. I like to make new friends; they just have to come out of the gate on their best foot.

Wow… I sound like I think really highly of myself… It’s not like that! I just have trust issues guys I swear!! :)

Morning or night person?

It depends on who I am spending time with. If the boy and I are at home just relaxing, 10pm rolls around and I am down. If Breanna and I are doing something I can stay up for days. I get up at 5am to go run some days and it’s no big deal. I try to remain flexible!

What is one fun/unique thing about you?

I will laugh at 80% of my own jokes. I can’t help it, I’m hilarious :)

Monday...Fun Day?

Oh Monday... What a day it was!

I started the day of right. It had been thirty days since my last...wait for it... Starbucks trip!

Oh boy, it was just as delicious as I remembered it to be :D Definitely won't be giving that stuff up for good! Work then proceeded to be extremely depressing. I am really not enjoying what I'm doing at all. What do I do you ask!? Thanks, so much for asking!! I am a Marketing Coordinator for an Architecture Firm in Michigan. I finished my under grad for architecture in 2010 and am currently in school for my Masters in Architecture and Business. Do I want to do any of the things I'm doing right now...? Not really.. I love sustainability and I want to flip houses. Great economy for the latter.

Alright, happier topic please! One of my "associates" decided to come break me out of my depression and take me to lunch! I love a good lunch date. We went to Slows... talking about it is making me want to go again...  I would... I probably shouldn't even list the things I would do for some delicious Slows BBQ.  So anyway :) photos!!

Waffle Fries with Cheese > ohmyfreakinggawddelicious

Pulled Pork with Sauce on the Side duhhhhhh (did I get a fork? nope. did it stop me? nope.)

The ladies driver!

We ate outside. It was beautiful. Except for the yellow jacket that kept trying to mate with me. But then... I had to go back to work :( Of course then the end of the day came, and I had to "drive" home. I say "drive" because the road looked like this:

Not. Moving. At. All. Ughhhhhh. Please. Just please. Get the eff out of the way. Great thanks.

But anyway... OH YES! Breanna < Beef.  Gosh... there are so many things you people don't know. Bre. Breanna. Breep. Is usually my best friend, just kiddinggggg :) Clearly we have a good time at all times.

So um anywaysss. Yesterday she kept saying over and over that she had a present for me. And I kept saying, Bre it is Monday, why in the world do you have a present for me!? Well, the present was this!

Alright let me explain. We have been talking about planning a trip to NYC for her birthday next April. Now it is officially official. It is a very very exiting time.

This post has gotten WAY too long... I will stop now. Adios!

Trial Run

This weekend we headed up north for a brief vacation. It was extremely brief! We worked all day Friday and ended up not getting out onto the road until around 7pm. It was quite an exciting five hour drive. We stayed until Sunday and then had to make that exciting drive back home again. I guess it was still nice to get away though.

Some of you might be thinking, hey 7pm doesn't seem late. However, I challenge you. When you are traveling with young people (2 of my younger siblings: Riley 10, Catherine 5) 7pm takes on a whole new meaning lol

This photo was taken literally 20 minutes in!

It was definitely somewhat of a trail run into parenting... which I will tell you... I was not a fan of! I'm sure it is a completely different situation when these are your children and they have been raised to your liking their entire lives. This time though, it was tough. I wanted to leave them behind half of the time. Between the whining, the 'he's touching me,' and the 'I would give anythingggg to have insert random item here,' I was glad when it was all over!

There were times when it didn't seems so bad.. fun even! We went to this interesting restaurant for breakfast one morning. As Aaron so kindly pointed out, "I don't know if you've noticed, but we are in a house!" This particular restaurant had roosters... basically everywhere!

After this dining experience it was back to the stop touching me and can you buy me this! So yeah... I'm thinking that either one kid is enough.. or maybe I'm just not ready for any at all!

It all started...

Yes! It all started yesterday. I have been reading a lot of blogs on here from some pretty amazing women. It really makes you think, am I doing everything that I can/should/want to be doing with myself and my life? Duhhh... probably not!

Alright so I'm like, from now on I need to do things differently.
  1. STOP stressing out about everything. It will all be fine. Life is good and there's really nothing at all serious going on. It's not worth being anything but happy!
  2. If I have been wanting to do something, have a thought that I could make something, try something new whatever, if a thought goes in my mind (within reason of course!) I am just going to do it!
So for quite awhile now I have been eying this project:

 (via)

AND last night I decided, eff it. I am doing this thing! After work I dragged my butt to Target, bought three pairs of heels and a giant box of crayons! Of course I got home to realize I had no mini glue sticks for the gun. *SON OF A...* yep out to Meijer. Much much later... it was finished!

Honestly, I like it so much better upside down. Also, this picture doesn't really do it justice.. I took it in the dark with my phone :) Pro-Status!

My new life path is beginning, as is this blog. I'm taking some camera lessons this weekend too! That we can look at some real blog appropriate photographs.
