remember the time...

Day Fourteen: My Funniest Childhood Memory

I can say with a good level of confidence, that all of my funniest and favorite childhood memories include my brother, Ryan. Even now, as a grown-up, most of my really good memories involve him. I am six years older and most of the time I feel like he is my little baby, and that is how I treat him. I pick him up in the middle of winter because he had to get Subway in a blizzard, I give him advice, and I find places to live and furniture to use. But, when we were younger, I wasn't always the loving sister. Which brings me to the absolute, funniest thing I remember from being a kid.

The time that I created a little sister named Ryita (because I am so darn creative). That is not RITA ok, it is Ri-etah.

I dressed Ryan up as a little girl, started calling him Ryita and then locked him out of the house for everyone to see. But before you feel bad for him, you should know, that we were up north and there actually were no people to see him. He was the prettiest little girl in all the land, trust me. I am convinced that he deserved it. We used to play Pretty Pretty Princess and he would always cheat and steal all the best jewelry. He obviously wanted to dress up like a girl.

In closing, I would like to just say:
Ryan, I am sorry for any emotional strain that I may have caused you. You are my favorite sibling and I would never intentionally turn you into a serial killer (please see Criminal Minds for this reference). I love you!!

  2. This made me LOLOLOL - "I dressed Ryan up as a little girl, started calling him Ryita and then locked him out of the house for everyone to see"

I had an older brother so we were complete opposites! He would torture me on a daily basis!
