Throwback

It feels like blogging everyday for #BLOGTOBER14 is making the month go by even faster. I can't believe it is the 9th already. I had a customer at work yesterday talking about how it is almost Christmas time. I was like, woah lady, chill, it is almost Thanksgiving time! Which of course is my favorite holiday. I am such a fatty at heart and I don't try to hide it.

Day Nine: My Best Halloween Memory

This post was a challenge, there were no Halloween memories that popped into my head. So, I, of course, decided to take the easy way out and use this year. Though... this is probably more like a fall memory.

I told Aaron about the "fall bucket-list" that I had written for my blog and he seemed pretty down for it. I figured that we could cross a few things off at one time over the weekend, and that's exactly what we did. I knew I wanted to decorate the porch but I didn't want to waste money on it unless it was going to hang around for awhile. So first things first, we went to a farm. This was, definitely, my very first time purchasing corn stalks and straw.

If you look at the pictures you can tell that we added a lot of decoration but I still really want to buy more. I just think we need a larger assortment of pumpkins... you know, so that we can move them around and then toss them in the trash in a few weeks. It makes perfect sense in my head.

It was a really nice time making the drive out into the country with Aaron, and then doing something that we have never done before. I am one of those strange girls that really would spend all her time with her husband if she could, so it was my perfect Sunday. We actually ended up crossing four/9 things off my list, (I crossed another off last night.): enjoy the outdoors, use a real camera, buy a pumpkin from a farmer, and decorate the front porch.

It was either this lovely and responsible Halloween memory or the time that Breanna called me in the middle of the night (sobbing) saying that she would "take one for the team" and make out with a fake black man.
