Piles of Money

And so begins another month. Happy October everyone!! I don't know if you have noticed, but I haven't been the best at blogging over the last year. Sometimes its hard to come up with stuff to talk about when you feel like you've been busy or in a rut. That's why I thought it would be a great idea to participate in #BLOGTOBER14.

Day One: If I Won the Lottery, I would...

I am sure we have all thought about it, "oooo if I won the lotto I could buy anything and everything!" I think that a lot of people probably jump to the obvious things like buying a new car or a whole new wardrobe (which depending on the amount, I would totally buy too). But for me, the first thing that comes to my mind is paying off my student debt.

I am on the verge of two Masters degrees to accompany my Bachelors. I have put in the time, the hard work, and the tears. But I haven't really been able to put in a lot of my own money. Going to a private university offered me a lot of different opportunities, including spending a small fortune.

I haven't quite found that perfect fit for me, in terms of a career. The job that makes me excited (most days) to get my butt up and go to work. The job that gives you the drive to succeed and push through. But once I find it, all my education and hard work will be worth it. Just because that hasn't happened yet doesn't mean that I regret anything. I just wish I had it all figured out... but who doesn't? For now I will continue to look for my "dream job" while pretending that I have it all figured out.

  2. You go girl! Two Masters?! Amazing! I'd also pay off student debt...it's definitely no joke! To not have to pay on those things every month would be such a huge blessing.

  3. Paying off debt might not be glamorous, but it's smart! Plus, you'll feel SO good once it's done! Go girl!

  5. 2 masters? You're my hero!

I would be practical too and pay off student loans, etc. And then bring on the Range Rover! :)

I look forward to following you through #blogtober14
